Transcript Requests
Current Students
An electronic copy of your official transcript can be ordered through Parchment (https://www.parchment.com/). We partner with Parchment for secure online ordering and electronic delivery of your transcript to just about anywhere in the world. There is a fee of $12 for this service. Transcripts issued to you will include a watermark that states, "Issued to Student". For an additional fee, Parchment will mail a hard copy of your official transcript to a third party. Contact the Registrar's Office for further information regarding Parchment fees, including taxes, where they apply.
If you are a dual-enrollment student, please place an order for your transcript through Parchment as described above.
A hard copy of your official transcript can be issued to you or to a third party upon receipt of a Transcript Request form, which can be found in the Forms section of the Registrar's Office webpage (https://prinweb.principia.edu/internal/registrar). Your transcript can be picked up by you from the Registrar's Office or mailed to a third party as indicated on your request form. A photo ID is required for pick-up.
Transcripts issued to you will bear a stamp that states "Copy issued to Student".
There is no fee for this service, although shipping fees outside the United States will be charged to your account.
Former Students/Alumni
Former students and alumni are invited to place an order for an electronic or hard copy of an official transcript with Parchment (see above). Designated recipients will receive an email with instructions for retrieving a PDF copy of the transcript. To prevent a breach of security, transcripts should not be forwarded or otherwise re-transmitted electronically. Transcripts issued to the former student/alum will include a watermark that states "Issued to Student". Former students and alumni cannot obtain an official transcript directly from the Registrar's Office, although we can help you resurrect your BannerWeb account through which you may view and download your unofficial transcript.
Please note the following:
- Under no circumstances will the Registrar's Office transmit an official or unofficial transcript electronically.
- If you have a billing hold on your account, you will be urged to contact the billing office.
